With Ryan’s extensive 20 years of experience and training you know you are in great hands.

In 1993 Ryan attended the renowned  Mesilla Valley School of Therapeutic arts in Las Cruces New Mexico. The school provided Ryan an intensive 600hr program in massage therapy and energy work. Upon graduating and receiving his license in the state of Texas, Ryan began working under the tutorage of Dr. Ried Elam at the El Paso Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center. Here he gained invaluable training and experience in Neuro-muscular therapy, sports massage, and clinical massage for athletes and rehabilitation. At  this time he also became an active member of the El Paso Sports Massage Team  and received his second degree as a Reiki therapist.

In 1994, Ryan moved to Houston with Dr Reid Elam to open a new Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic and became director of therapy and rehabilitation. Since then Ryan provided extensive clinical massage and bodywork, as well as other physical and rehabilitative modalities for Clemis Jackson, M.D., Scott Balin, D.C., and Robert Boss, D.C.

In September 2002, Ryan left the clinical field to work with private clientele, and continues yearly massage training as well as pursues his passion for art and painting

THE SESSION

I have created a tranquil and inviting environment, where my clients are able to relax comfortably. Soothing music, pleasant aromas and heated massage table further enrich the experience.

Upon arriving we will first discuss your needs and expectations for the session, as well as what form of massage you would prefer and to determine how best to work with you. As a professional, discretion and confidentiality are of the utmost importance and assured.

Cleanliness and proper hygiene are required before the massage. If you do not have time to shower before your appoinment, a shower is available upon request before and/or after your session for your convenience.

Once we are ready to begin I will leave the room to allow you to get undressed and set for the massage. I provide draping for those with modesty concerns and/or who chill easily. Draping is a method of using a sheet or towel to cover the client except for the areas being massaged. Ultimately it is of utmost importance to me that you feel safe, secure, and comfortable.

I use a fine therapeutic massage lotion that contains nourishing plant oils and natural emollients. The lotion contains Arnica Montana that helps provide temporary relief of sore muscles and stiff joints. In addition, the lotion is well absorbed, does not leave a greasy finish, and is hypoallergenic.   During the session I want you to please feel free to communicate to me your needs, what you like or do not like at any time. Please let me know if pressure is to much or to deep, if you need more pressure, you are getting chilled, need to use the rest room, need a sip of water etc. It is my goal to provide a private, safe, and caring place, where you are comfortable to let go, relax and unwind.   I seek to work from the heart and spirit to meet the individual needs of my client:

  • Whether one is seeking massage simply to relax and unwind.
  • Weather one an athlete or fitness enthusiast seeking sports massage to enhance performance and recovery
  • Whether one is seeking intensive, deep tissue/neuromuscular therapy for chronic pain and tension,
  • Whether one is suffering from illness, pain, emotional or mental problems and is seeking Reiki energy work to increase the healing potential of the body and sooth the soul,
  • Whether one needs simply needs to be touched and have someone unconditionally nurture and care for them,

Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to working with you soon!
